KDDI CABLE INFINITY
KDDI Cable Infinity(KCI) is working on 365x24 basis for constructions and repairs of telecommunication submarine cables for worldwide data communications, not only for international but also domestic cables in Japan.
Furthermore, KCI is the 1st self-sailing vessel in Japan, which can handle electrical power cables, adding to usual telecommunication cables or resorce research systems.

Bridge
- Securing 360-degree panoramic view and well-designed layout of equipment to ensure completely safe operation of the ship as well as cable laying operation. Dynamic Positioning System can be operated at four different areas, at bow during transit, at stern during cable laying operation and at both sides of the ship during approach to and sail out of berth.

Cable Tank

There are two main cable tanks with maximum loading capacity of 4,000 tons. They are capable of loading equivalent length of 5,000 km of Light Weight (LW) cable.
Carousel of 2,000-ton capacity is equipped on one of the main tanks. There are also two smaller tanks for spare cable.
